Speaking Engagements
I give PowerPoint presentations about:
- the history of Taliesin and the buildings on the Taliesin estate,
- the Taliesin Fellowship,
- preservation at Taliesin,
- and other subjects depending on people’s interests.
This year, I’ve lectured at libraries about “The Myths of Taliesin’s 1914 Fire”; Frank Lloyd Wright’s buildings on the World Heritage List from UNESCO; the second fire at Taliesin on April 20, 1925 for the Wisconsin Historical Society at the History Maker Space in Madison; and “Taliesin Legacy: Buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Apprentices In and Around Madison”, at the Landmark Auditorium at the First Unitarian Society in Madison.
“Taliesin Legacy” was given in concert with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and hosted by the Friends of the Meeting House.
